Hourly pay rate: $22.48 Job Responsibilities: Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing your work area Includes the use of chemical cleaners, sanitizers and acids to maintain compliance with the Jennie-O Turkey Store and USDA regulations Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor Minimum Qualifications: - Able to work in a Food plant (which may be cold and damp or hot and humid) - Good written and verbal communication skills - Thorough knowledge of all jobs and chemicals used within the department - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required - No attendance work actions in the last 6 months - No performance work actions in the last 6 months - PHYSICAL: Able to climb stairs and/or work on elevated stands or platforms - Able to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with foaming equipment operation and maintenance Specific training and experience in the use of caustics, sanitizers and acids What you will receive: This position has a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401(k) and match, Wellness Progr...
