Job DetailsJob Location: Nespelem - Nespelem, WA 99155Salary Range: $20.34 - $24.71 HourlyCLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled, with Bi-weekly Reviews POSITION: Engine Operator I/II: SALARY: ENOP I - $20.34-24.71 / ENOP II - $21.35-26.65, per hour REPORTS TO: Operations Technician: LOCATION: MT Tolman, Nespelem, WA: Basic Functions: Non Exempt. Employees at this level serve as members of a (2-4) two to four person engine crew. Engine Operator I: They are expected to have basic fire fighting skills and knowledge of basic fire behavior. The work involves activities related to wildland fire suppression/management/control as a firefighter on an engine, helideck module, or hand crew. Other related duties might involve fire prevention, patrol, fuels management projects and repair of and will be required to assist other Fire Management staff with various work projects such as cutting and piling vegetation, operating ATVs, grass seeding, fencing and mowing.
