The European Strategic Deployment department ensures optimal allocation of products across the European DC Network based on capacities and volumes ensuring that the European DC Network is utilized in the most optimal way and ultimately enables European demand to be fulfilled on time and in full (OTIF) according to customer requirements, in the most efficient way. In his role, the Data Engineer - SCM Deployment Europe is key for the efficient allocation strategy of the ranged articles in Europe by. executing the range allocation in the strategic deployment software. The role is responsible for all related processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Own, maintain and develop the pre-season allocation model in the optimization software (currently Llamasoft). Collect and update the data on SCM before season starts, ensuring the optimization model works according to the latest state of the network and SCM strategy. - Model pre-season deployment of the range based on forecast, agreed deployment principles and capacities across all European DCs in the optimization software. - Run different scenarios, provide output, inventory projections and recommendations for SLT on the season’s strategy. - Exec...
