CNC Machinist III-2nd Shift

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Comply and maintain safe operations by adhering to NOV safety policies and procedures. - Setup, program, and operate CNC machines under minimal supervision. - Work as a team player with others in a demanding, fast-paced environment to meet frequently changing production. - Carry out job requirements in accordance with established procedures and specifications while meeting established company production goals. - Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean, organized, and orderly. Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment. - Experience setting and running a slant bed lathe and vertical mill utilizing FANUC machine controls would be a distinct advantage. - Advanced knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments.
