Fortis Institute in Port St. Lucie, FL, has an opening for a Clinical Nursing Instructor. Fortis is affiliated with Education Affiliates , a company with app roximately 50 post-secondary schools nationwide, of which over 20 offer nursing programs. These s chools are known as Fortis College, Fortis Institute, Denver School of Nursing , and St. Paul’s School of Nursing. Our programs range from practical nursing to M SN degrees. Position Description: Nursing faculty are professionals with the education and practice skills to prepare the next generation of nurses . Faculty members are accountable to the Dean/Director of Nursing for the implementation of the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the nursing program and the College/Campus . They provide students with opportunities to acqu ire the knowledge and practice the skills iden tified in course obje ctives usi ng varied and appr opriate teaching met hods . They plan learning activities to meet program outcomes based on the standards set by policies, legal and other regulatory requirements, and acceptable practice .
