Classification Title: Systems Admin/Programmer III Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: The Systems Admin/Programmer III serves as the CLAS IT lead administrator for Microsoft server infrastructure and related enterprise systems that support the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of cloud and on-premises Windows server environments, Active Directory services, and associated Microsoft technologies. The role supports core infrastructure services, system performance, storage capacity, identity and access management, backup and recovery, and modernization efforts related to Azure/Entra environments.
