Fabrication Technician - Water Solutions

Job description

Will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling components as specified by our customers and engineering teams. The Welder/Fabricator will utilize a variety of welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW, and will be tasked with selecting, setting up, and maintaining the necessary equipment to complete each project. In addition to welding duties, the role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, performing layout and assembly of weldments, and ensuring that all work adheres to safety and quality standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Weld a variety of materials using multiple welding processes including manual arc, TIG, MIG, oxy/acetylene, and plasma cutting. - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to accurately fabricate components. - Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points for assembly. - Perform layout, fit-up, and assembly of weldments. - Operate hand tools and shop equipment including grinders, positioners, and turn-rolls. - Maintain shop, tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. - Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and over...
