Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Head Volleyball Coach, the Assistant Coach will serve as a member of the Department of Athletics and be responsible for administration of all aspects relating to a positive and beneficial intercollegiate athletics experience for student-athletes. Must be available nights and weekend hours. Job Description: Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The Assistant coach at Fort Lewis College, an NCAA Division II institution in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, is responsible for assisting all aspects of an athletically competitive volleyball program, including, but not limited to: - Organizing and conducting skill instruction, practice, and training schedules - Effectively manage relationships with student-athletes, coaches, and the broader campus community - Strategize and meet recruiting goals along with all other aspects of the evaluation of prospective student-athletes - Provide appropriate leadership in practice and competitive environments - Conduct sound fiscal management, and participate in fundraising activities supporting the program - Ensure a quality student-athlete experience through community engagement, campus...
