Custom & Excise Compliance Specialist - UK

Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Custom & Excise Compliance Specialist - UK to support operations across our 26 UK sites. The role is essential in supporting the efficient production, holding and movement of goods within, into and out of the UK, while maintaining full compliance with UK customs and excise regulations. The successful candidate will oversee customs and excise documentation, provide technical guidance on trade compliance and ensure all goods are processed in accordance with UK legislation. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day operational support to colleagues on EMCS and CDS related queries. - Liaise with internal departments, freight agents, and external stakeholders, including HMRC, to resolve clearance issues. - Ensure import and export documentation complies with current UK customs regulations, excise legislation and international trade requirements. - Monitor submissions for EMCS and CDS and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. - Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to res...
