Job Summary Georgia Power’s Distribution GIS application (DistGIS) supplies data to a host of critical applications. This position will join a team of GIS Analysts who work as technical support specialists and subject-matter-experts for DistGIS and related software. This position is responsible for resolving GIS related issues and ensuring that our integrated enterprise systems are performing optimally. This role provides spatial data analytics and reporting to various business leaders, in addition to coordinating strategic efforts to incorporate new technologies and solutions across the GIS enterprise. The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to perform at a high level with minimum supervision. Some emergency after-hours and weekend work will be required.
