Job Overview: Working as part of a joint venture with BWXT to form BWSR, Engineers report to the Engineering Manager in support of the Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) efforts at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory Kesselring Site in West Milton, New York. The Electrical Engineer of Radiological Work (ERW) works closely with Operations, Radiological Controls, and EH&S personnel to develop detailed work procedures and facility deactivation plans to support site wide Radiological D&D work activities. ERWs are provided training and must maintain qualifications to strict Program standards that regulate the conduct of this work. ERWs are responsible for assessing conditions associated with work assignments and determining the most efficient method of performing work that satisfies all Program and local requirements.
