Job description

Provides support in the Financial Reporting area by assisting in the preparation of internally prepared financial reports and external regulatory filings. Responsibilities also include preparing journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations, as well as maintaining spreadsheets and databases to assist with accounting and financial analysis work. Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________: 1. Performs accounting analysis and provides accounting/financial support and technical assistance for the assigned department. 2. Develops, prepares and maintains a variety of accounting and financial reports, statements, transactions, and records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; and to perform related duties as assigned. 3. Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, spreadsheets, and maintains databases in the performance of accounting and financial analysis work. 4. Analyzes, reconciles, and/or evaluates the accuracy of general ledger 5. Resolves discrepancies as necessary, and/or processing documents for input into automated systems. 6.
