Job description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Perform manual work such as cleaning, painting, loading, unloading, transferring and stacking materials and supplies, scrap and waste. - Use hand truck to move materials to and from storage areas. - Perform janitorial duties and various cleaning jobs using hand and powered equipment. - Other general labor tasks such as but not exclusive to the following: off-line wrapping of cans, sorting pallets, EOR slides, top frames, chipboards and other packaging materials for damage. - Keep work area clean, neat and orderly per 5S program. - Understand and follow procedures and work instruction related to this job function. - Recommend improvement ideas in all areas. - Record and maintain records as required. - Giving breaks when needed in multiple jobs - When required covering critical vacancies - Perform other tasks as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Must be forklift certified - High School diploma or equivalent required.
