Transport Manager – North Road Applications are invited for the position of Transport Manager with Value Centre North Road on a permanent full-time basis. The focus of this role will be to ensure the overall effective management, planning and co-ordination of the transport department, working in conjunction with Value Centre Management, sales teams and customers This position operates on an early morning shift pattern of 4:00am to 12:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Reporting to the Value Centre Manager, key responsibilities will include: Manage the performance of subcontracted hauliers, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures. Oversee daily route planning, with routes aligned to customer requirements and agreed service levels. Support “Customer Care” and assist in investigating and resolving Transport related complaints Conduct on‑site customer visits where required to assess delivery requirements and support improvements in delivery performance and route planning Work with the Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to HACCP requirements and reporting Approve and coordinate customer returns and investigate credit claims in conjunction with Stock Control Support the General...
