Job description
As a tanker trailer technician for cargo tank repair and testing your primary responsibilities are to perform external visual, internal visual, pressure, and leak tests on DOT specified tankers. You will also be responsible for tank testing on Hazardous Material certified tanks such as vac trucks, hydro excavators, oil tankers, guzzlers, tanker trailers, cargo tanks and more. Experience: - Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat) - The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a trailer - Tank service and repair - Knowledge of air brake systems and repairs - A working knowledge ABS systems - TIG/MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience - Willing to train through our apprentice program - Tank Valve Repair or Replacement: 1 year (preferred) - Tanker Air Systems Repair: 1 year (preferred) - Tank Trailer Repair: 1 year (preferred) - Trailer Brake System Repair: 1 year (preferred) - Trailer Electrical Lighting Repair: 1 year (preferred) - Trailer Suspension Repair: 1 year (preferred) - MIG Welding: 1 year (preferred) - TIG Welding: 1 year (preferred...
