Overview Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, a Nurse Practitioner is involved in the care of individuals who are undergoing treatment for cancer or other related diagnoses. Through a team-based-care approach, they will educate patients on treatments, provide post-operative care, build patient relationships through long term follow-up clinics, and provide other general support. Responsibilities: Education: As required by licensure. Experience: Clinical experience requirements are dependent upon the specific position, and include a minimum of 3 years of experience in gynecologic oncology specialty.
