Description Position Summary: The Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of St. John Bosco Child Development Center serving infants through preschoolers (6 weeks to 4 years). This role ensures compliance with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) child care licensing standards, promotes a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment, and oversees staff, curriculum, and parent relations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the center including staffing, program development, and regulatory compliance. - Ensure all programs meet Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers. - Oversee the applications of new families - Maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with child protection and safety regulations. - Search out new hires to be approved by the owners - Train, evaluate, and supervise staff, promoting professional development. - Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focusing on early childhood development. - Maintain accurate records, including children’s files, staff training, and attendance. - Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and regulatory agencies - Communicate regularl...
