Ergon Inc. seeks a full-time Environmental Regulatory Advisor to join our Operational Excellence Department. The Environmental Regulatory Advisor serves as Ergon's subject-matter expert on environmental laws, regulations, and permitting requirements across all business units. This role ensures company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while providing strategic guidance to leadership on regulatory risk, enforcement trends, and operational impacts. In addition, this position oversees environmental remediation activities at legacy and active sites, coordinating technical, legal, and regulatory efforts to manage risk, control costs, and drive timely site closure or regulatory sign-off. Educations and Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, or a related field is required. - Advanced degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in environmental management or compliance within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy-related environment. - Working knowledge of environmental regulations related to air, water, waste, and spill prevention. - Experience working with regulatory agencies...
