We are looking for a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (m/f/i) to join our Laboratory in Northbrook/Illinois to mainly d eveloping documents and maintaining environmental health and safety (EHS) programs (e.g. hazardous materials, emergency response plans) in compliance with Federal, State and Local legislation. University Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering or closely related field plus additional requirement of one of the following: Related Master’s degree or Certified Industrial Hygienist (American Board of Industrial Hygiene) or Professional Engineer license or Certified Safety Professional (Board of Certified Professionals) and 4 or more years directly related experience. min. 3-4 years of experience in the related field This position requires periodic travel by car and/or airline (or other public transportation) to other UL Solutions sites as assigned and perform in-person audits/ inspections/ investigations in a wide variety of laboratory and office environments.
