Laboratory Technician II - Commercial Mailouts - ( 26001783 ) Description The Department of Pathology is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform a variety of laboratory tasks related to clinical specimen processing and shipping, test result reporting, computer/clerical duties, telephone/electronic inquiries, routine laboratory maintenance and supply distribution. This position is 100% time, 1st shift, 0800-1630 (no weekends or holiday rotation). Duties to include: · Responds to telephone/electronic inquiries to include Commercial Mailouts (CM) voice mail.. · Performs laboratory work as assigned. · Maintains and monitors CM laboratory supplies. · Performs LIS/computer/clerical tasks. · Contributes to the maintenance of the work environment.
