Job description

Position Function: The Assistant Manager of Infrastructure Services assists in managing all resources and personnel associated with the planning, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and documentation of the campus network, and communications infrastructure. Campus network infrastructure systems include twisted-pair copper data network cable, fiber optic cable, switched edge network, and the wireless Wi-Fi network. Campus communication telephony infrastructure includes both legacy AT&T Centrex and new Voice over IP (VOIP) technologies. Project Management for all significant network/communication infrastructure projects on campus including new building projects, building renovation projects, twisted-pair copper and fiber optic cable plant build out/maintenance, campus wireless buildout and telco communication installation and maintenance. This position assists in the management of all resources associated with troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of campus supported computer electronics including Windows based systems and select printer hardware.
