Job description

Overview An IC Design Engineer is needed by the Microcircuit Emulation Center at SRI International (formerly Sarnoff Corporation) in Princeton, NJ to support the manufacturing of microcircuits (integrated circuits). Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) program, the Microcircuit Emulation Center (MEC) supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. This capability supports production, redesign, and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. SRI’s Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry. This position is 100% on site; relocation benefits are not available. Responsibilities: - Design, simulation and verification of analog circuits - Review specifications and requirements to determine appropriate design to emulate the original part - Design and verification of analog circuits, including OpAmps, Comparators and Regulators - Support layout engineers with the layout of macro cells and ensure correct post-layout functionality - Work with test engineers to develop characterization and qualification tests Qualifications: - BS Electrical Engineering with 5+ years designing ana...
