Position Summary: Performs daily transporting of patients/visitors, via wheelchair/stretcher or assistance with walking, to various destinations throughout the hospital and clinic facilities. Greets all customers entering Guthrie Health. Education, License & Cert: High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Experience: Previous customer service is required. Must be able to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. Essential Functions: - Responds to requests for transport via Microsoft Surface Pro or Apple iPad and Vocera. - Transports patients/visitors via wheelchair/stretcher and/or assist with walking patient/visitor to their destination in a timely manner. - Assists patients/visitors in and out of wheelchair and onto or up from a stretcher. - Has knowledge of the Guthrie Clinic facilities, programs and departments and provides information as needed. - Maintains knowledge of the community to recommend shopping, motels, restaurants, churches, etc. and provides information as needed. - In the absence of a parking attendant, escorts will assist patients/visitors in exiting and entering their vehi...
