Assistant Athletic Director for Business/Ticketing REPORTS TO : Deputy Athletic Director JOB STATUS : Exempt: PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for oversight of athletic department business operations and budgeting procedures, management of all invoices and billings, as well as budget oversight within a Christian university setting. Will also implement strategic initiatives to sell tickets and increase attendance and revenue at intercollegiate athletic events for Houston Christian University Athletics. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES: - Manages the daily operations of the Athletic business office - Ensures that business and financial guidelines of the department are in full compliance with university, state, conference and NCAA guidelines - Oversees the monthly reconciliation of accounts, maintains income and expense records, and prepares financial reports - Supervises the preparation of purchase requisitions and vouchers - Process travel statements and reimbursements, helps develop and implement internal departmental travel policies - Serves as the primary contact to sell tickets to all ticketed events.
