Description Responsibilities : Team Management : Manage day-to-day activities of the Maintenance department and outside building contractors. Will establish goals, priorities and evaluate Performance of staff to ensure the maximum benefit of the resources expended. Creates an empowered environment ensuring that the maintenance organization and its people understand the goals and objectives of the business and that they have the resources and support to accomplish them. Establishes an environment that ensures and supports open and friendly communication. CapEx Execution : Prepare and manage the facility Capital Asset Project proposals supporting ROI/documentation. Ensure that projects are planned properly to provide sufficient funding. Review data to ensure that the results are achievable and obtain necessary approvals. Closely monitor projects to ensure they are completed as planned and that the funds are utilized properly. On an ongoing basis, initiate design changes and modifications to further improve machine efficiency, to facilitate design changes and cost reductions, and to expand the capability of existing equipment to handle new products.
