USM Libraries & Learning invites applicants to join our dynamic team! The University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Library Specialist CL3 located primarily on the Gorham Campus. Academic Year schedule, Gorham Campus, Sunday 11:30am-8:00pm, Monday 9:00am-5:30pm, Tuesday - Thursdays 7:30am-4:00pm. Summer hours and intersession hours are subject to change. The Library Specialist is a key member of the Gorham Library team. The position provides a variety of services and support including information services, circulation assistance, reference, e-reserves, assistance with navigating academic support services, and answering basic technology/computer questions. Excellent service skills are required. The Library Specialist shares responsibility for training and supervising library student assistants. The person in this position will have the needed skills to assist with Interlibrary Loan and digital library services and resources.
