Lead Optometric Technician

Job description

We are currently seeking a Lead Optometric Assistant to monitor and manage optometric assistant performance and proficiency levels. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager. This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice. Pay range: $20-$25/hr: Job Responsibilities: - Maintain, clean, and audit frame board on a weekly basis - Order and track materials/supplies needed for back office - Ensure patients are teched and scribed in a timely manner and assists the team when falling behind - Educate patients on proper frame selection and lens options - Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. - Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children Minimum Qualifications: In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission. - Previous experience in a vision practice is a plus - Ability to tech, scribe,...
