Position Overview: The Account Specialist is responsible for managing assigned patient accounts from initial billing through resolution to a zero balance. This role requires strong analytical and accounting skills to assess payments, adjustments, and discrepancies while maintaining communication with patients and insurance carriers. The Account Specialist must remain adaptable to changing insurance rules and requirements and ensure accurate and timely account resolution.
