Job Responsibilities: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Current PTCB and State of WV Registration is preferred, or candidates must be able to pass the exams required by WV. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of prior pharmacy tech experience in a retail setting preferred. Internal applicants must call HR at ext. 11653 to determine eligibility before applying. - Provides friendly customer service. - Assists pharmacist in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services. - Performs all pharmacy dispensing functions with accuracy and efficiency, including but not limited to data entry, pill counts, fill, POS, third party rejections. - Assist patients with getting financial support if needed - Follows all policies and procedures, to ensure all patients are taken care of and all information is relayed appropriately. - Answers telephones quickly and with courtesy. - Pulls and counts medication from the shelves accurately and according to the label. - Follows all laws set forth by the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy. - Maintains accurate and complete patient records, including allergies, updated insurance information, prescriptions, etc. - Assists in inventory mana...
