SUMMARY: Directs activities of workers in the construction of buildings, to include airports, stadiums, hotels, infrastructure, or other construction projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Primary duties and responsibilities include the following: Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction. Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project. Assist Estimating in bidding opportunities and Preconstruction services. Engage in the development of detailed CPM Schedule. Engage in the development of detailed scopes of work. Engage in the development of project site logistics plan. Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents. Manage Russell’s labor force to achieve optimum performance. Review and understand material budgets and negotiate purchase orders.
