Security Specialist - Job Number: 261398 - Full-time - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and every other weekend, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Security Specialist in Green Bay to answer incoming phone calls from company truck drivers with security-related questions and requests. The Security Specialist will also operate gates and monitor entrances at Schneider facilities across the country. Responsibilities: - Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate department or associate. - Maintain courteous communication with internal associates and company drivers. - Oversee the accurate inventory of equipment. - Control gate access across Schneider locations. - Analyze and react to gate video surveillance. - Handle and resolve security alarms promptly. - Guide associates on adhering to security policies and procedures. - Handle confidential business information with the utmost discretion to ensure confidentiality is maintained.
