A Day in the Life: The Toolmaker II is responsible for the fabrication, repair, maintenance, and modification of precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing operations. This role interprets engineering drawings and specifications to machine and assemble tooling components with high precision. The Toolmaker II supports production by troubleshooting tooling issues, performing adjustments and repairs, and ensuring tools operate efficiently to maintain product quality and manufacturing productivity. The position collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve tooling performance and implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
