Overview The Pictsweet Company in Monte Alto Texas is looking for experienced line attendants to join our team. Line attendants will prepare machinery and equipment to begin production/processing operations. Responsibilities: - Sets up blancher temperature sets blancher speed, sets blancher hood in place, turns on blancher belts as well as in-feed and its charge belts - Turns on all belts and adjust belt speeds - Sets bins and other receptacles as required to catch product - Fills and monitors wash and cooling tanks with water - Turn on and monitors cooling sprays, chlorine sprays and flume water - Monitors water usage; adjusts and reduces flow of water. - At shift end, secures all water, steam lines and shuts off all belts and blancher - Operates forklift if needed - Maintains work areas clean. - Performs other duties as assigned . Qualifications: EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum six (6) months experience working in an industrial setting LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules/signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
