About the Position The Research Coordinator I oversees and administers research study and associated activities. Assists in project planning, and ensures that pre-established work scope, study protocol and regulatory requirements are followed. May recruit and coordinate research subjects, as appropriate, and serves as principle administration liaison for the project. Oversees and coordinates the provision of administrative and staff services to investigators; develops and maintains record keeping systems and procedures. **Phlebotomy license required or must be obtained.** This is an on-site position assigned to the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. A thorough government background check will be required. About the Project: The goal of Project 3 is to examine the impact of HPA-allostatic load in service members that screen positive for PTSD compared those that experience trauma but show resilience to stress and its impacts on health. This pilot project will determine if the HPA-IL-6 interface, e.g. allostatic load, extends to other types of trauma faced by military personnel and its impact on health and readiness.
