Position Summary This project will be comprised of many different smaller projects at 5 different New York State Parks. Although the location will vary, the underlying theme of the projects will remain consistent. The Projects will be focused on Invasive Species Management and Mitigation. As this is the greatest threat facing these Parks our goal is to reduce the invasive plant population and increase the health and integrity of native plants. This in turn will have a tremendous beneficial impact on the ecological integrity of the ecosystems.
