POSITION TITLE: - Tech I, Rigging JOB SUMMARY: Provides the highly skilled, discipline specific technical skills needed for the successful operation and maintenance of the Rigging and Staging elements for assigned Entertainment venues, projects, events, and productions, to ensure highest levels of show quality and a positive guest experience. Responsible for the appropriate implementation of all policies and procedures, including high-risk, for assigned area and team, as defined by ANSI, ESTA, and Universal Orlando, governing the safe operation of all technical equipment. EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE: Required: Preferred: - Ensures installation, operation, or strike of rigging equipment or systems per managements direction. Assesses Hazards associated with rigging and staging equipment or systems. Determines mitigations with the team and ensures implementation, completing all documentation and communicates with leadership. - Expected to accomplish tasks as directed by the Lead Tech and the rigging and staging management that supports the team’s mission with little to no oversight, while working at height.
