This is the job: Database Administration & Operations is responsible for the deployment, management, optimisation, and protection of enterprise database platforms. The area ensures high availability, integrity, performance, and security of structured and unstructured data supporting critical business applications. It spans relational (SQL) and NoSQL platforms, addressing challenges such as version upgrades, patch management, capacity planning, data lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards. The function also maintains robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities, while continuously improving database reliability, automation, and operational maturity.
