Smithfield, Virginia Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Smithfield is currently hiring for a Full Time Day Shift Registered Nurse for their RN Nurse Supervisor role in Smithfield, VA! Eligible for $7,500 Sign on Bonus Overview: Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Supervises and directs nursing services on one or more units in a facility. Assesses, plans, implements, and executes resident care and directs all activities in order to provide quality service. Maintains close contact with residents, families and staff while coordinating nursing services with all other disciplines. What you will do: - Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered. - Works with DON/Nurse Manager to keep labor expenses within budget. - Works with DON/Nurse Manager on on boarding, orientation and supervision of the nursing staff to ensure safe work practices. - Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
