Job description

We are looking for a talented Student to join our School to Work Program in Bronx, NY. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Under direct supervision in a service workshop, assist senior level Technicians with repairs and maintenance on CHASSIS products and Engine repair. - Disassemble, clean and inspect chassis and /or chassis components - Provide assistance with diagnosing and troubleshooting engine failures. - Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation - General shop maintenance such as inspecting extension cords, replacing air lines, general maintenance, daily JSA (Job Safety Analysis) reports, welder inspections and daily time sheets. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Student to Work program where current student will work as part of degree program to assist full-time Cummins Technicians. Student to Work employee needs a willingness to learn and accept feedback from a certified Cummins technician. Constantly follow all health and safety guidelines and work safe on every job.
