Description Position Summary: Tulane University ’s Deming Department of Medicine is seeking a hematologist-oncologist to serve as a Clinician Researcher in Solid Tumor Oncology with a Breast Cancer Specialization to join the faculty. This is a full-time position within the Section of Hematology & Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will contribute to our excellence in clinical care, research, and education . while expanding the clinical research of the section by opening and conducting clinical trials. This position is ideal for an ABIM-certified (or eligible) medical oncologist with experience in medical oncology and specifically breast cancer treatment . The candidate should have experience and demonstrated interest in clinical trial development, translational research, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities: These responsibilities may vary from time to time and will be assigned by the Section Chief of Hematology & Medical Oncology. - Clinical Care: Provide exceptional outpatient care in solid tumor malignancies focusing on GI cancers with a minimum of 3.5 days of clinic a week.
