Description The Kitchen Assistant helps to provide nutritious lunches to our Heritage guests and assists with Heritage events. Essential Functions: - This position is responsible for daily food prep of lunches for Heritage and for assisting with special events under the supervision of the executive chef. - Primary responsibilities include daily food preparation, lunch service and cleanliness for a kosher food site. - Helping cook and deliver kosher lunches to the Child Development Center - General kitchen cleaning, dishwashing and organization of kitchen tools and food inventory - Daily batch cooking, food preparation, grilling, baking as needed per our menu Schedule: - This part time position is typically scheduled to work from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on one or more weekdays. Some additional hours for special events will be required.
