Essential Functions: This position is responsible for: - Set the tone for the department with a fix it forever mindset - Develop downtime reduction strategy for the Maintenance department (PM programs, staffing) - Develop training strategy to minimize 3rdparty spending - Develop Parts room strategy to create an organized, accurate parts inventory. - Facilities expertise (steam systems, sewer, NH3, roof, asphalt, electrical service, boilers, etc. - CAPEX Projects (write, justify, lead) - Host Contractors for job walks on facility assets - Approaches work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engage in MVFF Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource, and sustain improvement opportunities. - Owns and promotes a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior. - Provides management of employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, and development including disciplinary action and performance management. - Analyzes data from the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) (MVP Plant)) and make necessary adjustments to achieve high performance from Maintenance team members. - Di...
