Role of the Engineering Project Manager Under general direction, manage various types of projects and programs through all phases of project execution including implementation. Projects include but are not limited to construction, equipment, and sustainability and are aimed at furthering Recology’s vision of a world without waste. Essential Responsibilities: - Provides overall project support to the operations teams (landfill, recycling, composting, and processing facilities) to envision, design, review, and implement projects. - Responsible for identifying and assigning project roles and ensuring comprehensive cooperation of the various departments. - Coordinates a wide variety of design, permitting, and construction work for facility development and equipment enhancements. - Responsible for preparing and tracking project budgets, especially as they relate to vendor contracts, scopes, and pricing. - Responsible for developing and managing project timelines. - Oversees and provides support to general contractors, engineers, architects, and equipment vendors. - Oversees project specific environmental permitting, building permitting, and final project signoffs. - Responsible for alig...
