Job Overview: APTIM is seeking energetic and motivated entry level Civil Engineer to join our Construction Management team in New Jersey. APTIM provides the opportunity to apply skills gained in an academic setting to challenging projects and meaningful work assignments. They should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, having gained a broad experience in various aspects of Construction Management focused on the transportation sector. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Support the Office Engineer with reports, calculations, estimations and inspections - Learn about Traffic Operations / MOT (MPT) for lane closures, detours and signage, coordinating constructability reviews - Coordination and stakeholder engagement with various project authorities having jurisdiction - Perform varied office engineering functions in preparing and supervising the preparation of reports, estimates, plans, and specifications - Assist with scheduling, conducting and documenting meetings - Use best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services - Conduct field activities for investigation or inspection with senior personnel - Apply knowledge an...
