Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $27.21 - Midpoint: $35.35 (Hourly N9) Department/Organization: 504106 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm; some nights and weekends. Note to Applicants: This is a campus only search. You must be a current UA employee to be considered. Job Summary: The HVAC Mechanic II performs skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all types of refrigeration, cooling and heating equipment, and refrigeration, cooling, ventilating, and heating equipment within assigned area. Acts as lead worker. Trains and supervises entry-level Mechanics. Interprets plans and blueprints. Drives from site to site. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of HVAC experience. EPA Section 608 HVAC Universal Certification. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
