Your Impact The Forensic Technician is responsible for the proper handling and management of all incoming data and evidence. They are also responsible for forensic acquisitions and reporting of media that arrives at the Austin forensics laboratory. They have sufficient technical skill to understand and address data issues, identify and navigate network problems, and provide support to our team of remote Forensic Examiners. The Forensic Technician also has the ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical customers, helping them meet their discovery deadlines. What You'll Do: chain of custody for all media received. Manages the logging and secure storage of physical media in accordance with procedures, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of client data.
