Location: Florida Oncology and Hematology Pay Range: $16.72 - $27.86 Practice: Florida Oncology and Hematology: Locations: 326 Del Prado Blvd N #301, Cape Coral and 14551 Hope Ctr Lp, Fort Myers Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday 8a-5p: PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION SUPPORTING BOTH OUR CAPE CORAL AND FORT MYERS' OFFICES. YOU WILL RECIEVE AN ADDITIONAL $1.00/HR. FLOAT DIFFERNTIAL. Job Description Summary: Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Primary Key Performance Areas: Responsible for performing proper quality control procedures before proceeding with patient testing. Perform laboratory blood work. Perform blood draws Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing. Perform technical laboratory procedures in a timely manner with accuracy and precision, meeting the standards of all accrediting and regulating agencies. Prepare blood or bone marrow slides for evaluation. Send outside labs to appropriate facility as dictated by patient’s insurance plan.
