The opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Engineer specializing in Electronics Hardware Design to join our innovative team at HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development of cutting-edge lectronics solutions, from conceptualization through to production, contributing to the future of sustainable energy. How youll make an impact Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for power electronics applications, including control boards, gate drivers, and sensor interfaces. Perform schematic capture, PCB layout design, and component selection, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and DFM/DFT principles. Conduct detailed simulations (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer, PSpice) to verify circuit performance and integrity. Build, debug, and validate hardware prototypes, conducting comprehensive functional and performance testing.
