Bonder III - 18296 Description: Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite or metal) assemblies, parts, skins, components, or structures into semi-finished or finished products. Lays out articles, cuts parts or materials to size. Applies liquid or solid bonding agents. Performs bagging and debulking processes. May operate autoclave, hot bonders, and ovens to complete bonding cycle. Controls conditions of heat, pressure, and timing by setting and operating various controls according to the specifications for the materials and the bonding agent being used. Sands, deburrs, and smooths over areas; applies sealing resins to cut or exposed edges. Monitors and verifies quality of finished product. Completes repairs on composite, metal, or laminate bonded products using inspection and rework instructions. § Follow company policies and procedures. § Follow directions and/or instructions, as directed. § Familiar with Internal Customer Interfaces, as defined by the process assigned. § Process forms and document work by utilizing their endorsement, in accordance with the Quality Management System. § Notify immediate supervisor of any suspected un-airworthy condition noted while perform...
