Schedule Full Time: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday Day Shift; On Site General Summary: Coordinates the oncology treatment scheduling process and manages the day-to-day activities of the overall treatment schedules. Facilitates the efficient and effective use of resources surrounding oncology treatment by accurate and timely scheduling of treatment modalities according to policies, procedures, and guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: - Supportive of meetings with a multidisciplinary team to increase efficiency of the oncology scheduling practices. - Coordinates and manages the day-to-day activities of the oncology overall treatment schedules, including coordinating outpatient procedures. - Coordinates and schedules oncology treatments and verifies authorization prior to scheduling. - Facilitates creation of oncology schedules to maximize efficiency by scheduling physicians and treatments appropriately. - Performs necessary conflict checks, consistently intercepts potential scheduling conflicts, and independently works to resolve them, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team as needed. - Demonstrates a working knowledge of oncology treatment documenta...
